South Bank Streets Beach is lifeguard patrolled 7 days a week from early till late during summer and throughout most of the day during winter. It has a crystal clear swimming lagoon with shallow wading areas for young children and sandy beaches for mums and dads to relax on.
If you're after something a little more active, why not hire a bike or rollerblades and enjoy a sunny afternoon exploring Brisbane City. You can cycle along the boardwalk towards the Kangaroo Point Cliffs or over the Goodwill Bridge to the picturesque Botanic Gardens.
Or, if you prefer a more leisurely experience, take a stroll through the magnificently decorated Bougainvillea Arbour or past the beautifully landscaped gardens.
