Over the last few years, Brisbane's South Bank has been redeveloped and revived to attract more and more people. Of which, Little Stanley Street has become a popular South Bank shopping destination. You can buy everything from beautiful handcrafted jewellery, designer fashion and accessories to plenty of gifts, souvenirs and home wares.

Little Stanley St is also a great place for breakfast, lunch, dinner or that mid morning espresso.

Check out Denim Co for cutting edge, designer fashion as well as good coffee, cakes and Salsa Dancing on a Friday night.

Or, if you enjoy strolling around the markets on a weekend, South Bank Markets Brisbane is a feast for the senses. Nibble on some gourmet food while you're entertained by the many buskers. Relax and unwind with a massage or have your cards read by one of the many fortune-tellers.

South Bank markets sell a great range of hand-made clothing, jewellery and accessories as well as plenty of gifts, gourmet snack foods and arts and crafts. The colourful, gypsy style stalls, Brisbane River views, melodic music and lantern lighting on Friday nights, provide the perfect atmosphere while you browse.

Brisbane's South Bank markets, are open every Friday night from 5pm to 10pm, Saturdays from 11am to 5pm and on Sundays from 9am to 5pm.

For more serious shopping, simply walk or take a City Cat across the bridge and visit some of Brisbane, Australia's major shopping centres including the newly developed Queens Plaza.
